I actively use cognitive development theory to shape my lessons, making sure my teaching methods meet students where they are. I also believe in using different ways to check for understanding, catering to various learning preferences. By designing my curriculum step-by-step, I aim to build strong thinking skills and create a classroom where students are truly involved and grasp concepts deeply.

I teach by considering how students learn, applying cognitive development principles to tailor my lessons to their levels. I assess understanding in diverse ways and build the curriculum to foster engagement and deep learning. Usually I will start the lesson by checking students' understanding on certain topic by having a pre-assessment. From the pre-assessment result, then I can decide on which part that the student need more practice. This might be time consuming to tailor and customized material to meet each student's need, however the result is also satisfactory.
